That’s why United Way of Marion County’s work is focused on the building blocks for a good life.

Our objective is to improve the sight and well-being of visually impoverished people throughout the world. We are all volunteers who work together as a non-profit, humanitarian organization. We are a publicly supported charity.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted

As you know, times are hard in our community and Interfaith Emergency Services is seeing more and more people who need help with food, shelter, clothing and assistance with medication. While we rely 100% on donations from the community, many of those who have faithfully supported us over the years are unable to do as much as in the past. Therefore we are launching a “recession proof” fund-raising campaign that will allow many people to give just a little in order for Interfaith to continue to help those in need. Our goal is to get 100,000 people to give $5 each.
